Missing non-english characters during sync (New Google Docs editor) (08/12/2010)
There is a known issue that causes notes that are synced from Google Docs to NoteMaster to lose thier non-english characters. This issue is caused by the way the new Google Docs editor works when downloading files. We will get this issue fixed as soon as possible in an update. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
As a workaround, you can try turning off the new Google Docs editor interface, which should fix the problem. Here's how:
1. Log into Google Docs form your web browser.
2. Go to the "Document Settings".
3. Go to the "Editing" tab.
4. Find the checbox that says "New version of Google documents". Make sure this is unchecked.

5. Unchecking this box will allow new documents to be created or uploaded using the old interface. For existing documents that were created with the new interface, they will not be automatically converted, and you'll have to re-upload or copy/paste them into a new document.
Determining If You Are Using the New Interface
To determine if your documents are using the new interface, you can either look at the icon or open the document and look at the interface itself.
Documents that use the new interface have an icon showing the "paper" with some light "writing" on it:

Documents that use the old interface have an icon shows the "paper" as a blank white sheet:

Open documents that use the new interface have a ruler right above the text area:

Open documents that use the old interface do not have a ruler and have the toolbar right above the text area:
